Sermon Notes is a simple way to collect notes from the sermons that you hear throughout the year.
Jeremiah 30:2
“Thus speaketh the LORD God of Israel, saying, Write thee all the words that I have spoken unto thee in a book.”
While God is not having anyone today write Scripture, God does speak to us as His Word is preached. Writing those thoughts down in a book will help us remember the times God has spoken to us.
This Sermon Notes Booklet is designed to allow you to treasure the thoughts God has spoken to you through the preaching in your local church. There are 104 pages on which to record your notes. This amount allows for one year’s worth of sermon notes if you participate in two services each week.
These notes can be taken consecutively; however, if your church preaches through sermon series, it may be helpful to separate the notes from the different services. For example, the notes for Sunday morning can begin on page 1, and the notes for Sunday night can begin on page 53.
A primary purpose of preaching is to motivate action. James 1:22, “But be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves.” Each page contains a place where you are asked to reflect on the message and consider what God would have you do based upon the things you have heard that day.
